As everyone knows by now, the State of Texas has been ravaged by Hurricane Harvey. Harvey has left hundreds of thousands of people displaced and many have lost everything. Jamaal Charles and I (Earl Thomas) are from Port Arthur, TX and Orange, TX respectively and have seen our cities, families and friends devastated by this natural disaster. We are asking our family, friends, fans and anyone else that is able to help pitch in, so we can help our communities get back on their feet as soon as possible. All of the money raised will go directly to the families in the 409 for any and all items they may need from beds, diapers, formula, clothes, food, shelter, etc.

Note: Both Earl Thomas and Jamaal Charles have started out the giving by donating $50,000 each! #409Strong!

Southeast Texas Emergency Relief Fund

Southeast Texas has experienced unparalleled devastation from Hurricane Harvey, and the Southeast Texas Emergency Relief Fund (SETERF, a 501(c)(3) organization) is once again rallying to the cause by providing immediate aid in the form of gift cards for food, medicine and gas. Additionally, funds are being dispersed to trusted local agencies that will provide other critical services to thousands of individuals who have suffered damage and can least afford the devastating impact from the storm.

he SETERF was established in 2005 by attorney Regina Rogers and businessman Joe Penland to address the extensive needs of thousands of individuals affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. SETERF rallied to the cause again after Hurricane Ike hit Southeast Texas in 2008. To date, more than $2 million has been distributed to individuals, social service organizations, small businesses and faith-based organizations.
